Centre College invites applications for a full-time, two-year visiting assistant professor to begin August 2024 who will enhance the learning and teaching environment at Centre College with their experiences, ideas, and perspectives. We seek candidates who can teach courses in Microbiology, contribute to an introductory Genetics course and lab, and develop or contribute to other courses in their areas of expertise. Research with undergraduate students is not expected for visiting instructors, but is supported. The successful applicant will have a Ph.D. or ABD status in the biological sciences or related field by August 1, 2024.
