Sabah is a 1st generation scientist at The Scripps Research Institute. There, Sabah organizes applied bioinformatics teaching materials through workshops and a course while also conducting research, specifically biocuration as part of the GeneWiki project (Wikidata), under Dr. Dawn Eastmond and Dr. Andrew Su. Sabah is a recent(ish) Quantitative & Systems PhD graduate from UC Merced, which focused on venom microbiomes and marine microbial ecology, under the guidance of Dr. Clarissa Nobile and Dr. Tanja Woyke. Sabah’s long-term aspiration is being an increasingly kind and humble person than the previous day, and maybe some science too. Science is political.
